Florence, the capital city of the Italian region of Tuscany, is considered the birthplace of the Renaissance. The Historic Centre of Florence was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1982. Florence is world-renowned for its culture, Renaissance art and architecture and its monuments, as well as for its numerous museums and art galleries, such as the Uffizi Gallery and the Palazzo Pitti. It has been ranked as one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

If your application is approved, the ERASMUS+ grant will cover course fee, meals and accommodation fee and travel costs. Additionally your school will receive an organisational fee of 350€ per person.

Dinner on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday is not included, as there's an individual programme on these days.

- B&B from Sunday evening to Saturday morning
- Coffee Break and lunch from Monday to Friday
- Welcome Dinner on Sunday evening

Organisation

- Course materials
- Guided Walking Tour through Florence
- Tour of the Uffizi Gallery
- Primary school visit in Prato (15km from Florence)
There will be a budget in your grant for your travel costs as well:
- Your flight ( has to be booked individually)
- Transfer from airport to the hotel in Prato (suggestion for organisation will be made by me)
- Transfer from your home to the airport
Information about the course
To be able to follow the course successfully, a minimum level of B1 (according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) is required.
Courses are not designed for native-speakers, as there is a language development part included in the course.
