Communication, Creativity .... and CLIL
The course contains two main themes: the development of teachers' own English language skills, and creative teaching techniques. We will also explore how several of the creative techniques experienced and explored in the various sessions can be imported into the CLIL classroom.
- to encounter innovative, learner-centred ideas and to explore various co-operative and collaborative teaching techniques
- to increase your own and your learners’ confidence in English
- to learn more about CLIL
And it all takes place just outside the wonderful city of Venice, Italy!
As you know, there are Seven Wonders of the World but there's probably one more: Venice!
It's fascinating!
Venice is an island city which is located on 118 small islands and seems to float on the waters of the lagoon. In Venice you'll find 170 waterways which separate the islands and there are 400 bridges which connect them.
The whole city is an extraordinary architectural masterpiece in which even the smallest building contains works by some of the world's greatest artists. The influence of Venice on the development of architecture and monumental arts is considerable, its great painters left a decisive mark on the development of painting and decorative arts in the whole of Europe.
Most people in Venice earn their living from tourism. Although Venice may be a small city, there's so much to say about it. So if you want to know more about Venice,
join us there and live the Venice experience!
